Up 2 Speed Customs (U2SC)

Racing together since 2011, Up 2 Speed Customs is a close group of "Average Joes" who love all aspects of the Forza universe. This tuning calculator is built and maintained by U2SC Members for U2SC members to use in Forza Motorsport & Horizon on Xbox One, and we gladly keep this open for anyone to use. We do not charge for access or make any money from ads (nor do we plan on it). Please provide feedback on the BETA tuner on our Discord Server. Your feedback is important to us!

NOTE: This is the BETA version of the U2SC Tuning Calculator intended to test new features and/or formulas. If you want to switch to the latest stable release of the calculator, please click HERE (your form will be reset)

Currently Testing in BETA (as of 01-MAR-2017)
Some or all of the items below could be active/adjusted at any time. If you have any issues with a tune, please provide feedback (linked below) and switch over to the released version of the tuner by clicking HERE.
  • Formula Tweaks (beta v2.2 - 01-MAR-2017): Tweaked calculations for FH3 ARB, Bump and Rebound (only for FH3 tunes).
  • Input Form Updates (beta v2.2 - 01-MAR-2017): (1) Added a checkbox for square tire setup (same size front and rear), to assist in mobile form entry. (2) Changed the Fine Tuning % input from drop down to raw % input to allow for more finite adjustments. (3) Changed input form "Tune Type" and "Suspension Type" to "Tune Type" and "Game Version", which makes the formulas cleaner and makes more sense from an input perspective. (4) Reorganized the form slightly to make it flow better and changed the # Gears from raw input to dropdown due to limitations in the formulas.
  • (COMING SOON) Formula Tweaks (beta v2.2 - ??-MAR-2017): Formula tweaks across the board (more to come soon).

Vehicle Data Input Form

All of the data input below is used to calculate the base tune, so please enter all of the data correctly. Remember that this is a BASE tune. There will be fine tuning needed to mate the base tune to your driving style. The Transmission data is optional.

*Note: "Offroad & Rally Tuning" is intended for FH2 & FH3. "Off-Road", "Rally", or "Storm Island" (in FH2) parts (suspension & tires) should be used, as there are differences in the min/max values in FM3. "Offroad & Rally Tuning" can be used to calculate tunes for certain FM6 "Off-road" or "Rally" style vehicles (lots of fun at VIR and the Test Track).

Vehicle Tuning Data

Suspension Fine Tuning (Optional)

Enter the strength in the form of whole percentage. The accepted Range is 1 to 200 (in increments of 1), where 100 = 100%. 100% represents default calculator output.

Transmission Tuning (Race Trans ONLY)

"Top Speed", "# Gears" and "Redline RPM" are all required if Transmission tuning is desired. Leave at ZERO (0) if Transmission tuining is not desired.

ADVANCED Gearbox Tuning: The Custom Gear Ratios (Final Drive & 1st Gear) and 1st Gear Top Speed sections are completely OPTIONAL!

The Tune

Below you will find your tuning results. These results are balanced starting points based on several factors (total weight, weight balance, drive type, downforce, etc.). Fine tuning will be needed to adapt to your driving style and/or preferences. If there are any issue or problems with the tune, please contact justLou72 & Beefsupreme42 on the Up 2 Speed Customs discord.

Version History
  • v2.1.0 - Currently in BETA
  • v2.0.1 - MAJOR Version Update - 29-JUN-2016
    • FIX Applied v2.0.1 (06-JUL-2016): Fixed an issue with brake balance suggestion not picking up Standard (Bias) tires when selected resulting in a NULL field.
    • MAJOR FEATURE ADDED: Metric Support !!NOW LIVE!!
    • MAJOR FEATURE ADDED: Off-Road Tuning (for FH2/3)
    • MAJOR FORMULA UPDATE: Completely overhauled/reworked calculations!
      • Spring Rate: Brand new custom formula replaces the old, heavily modified Xtreme Skills formula used prior. With the new formula, "Ride Height" and "Lateral G-Forces" are no longer needed for input. These two data points are not needed, and ride height is simply the ground clearance between the ground and bottom of the chassis. Lateral G-Forces are "calculated" by the game and we all know how accurate those numbers are (don't trust the benchmark numbers). One thing you will notice right away is that the Spring Rates will be stiffer than before. This is intended to work with the other changes/tweaks below.
      • Anti-roll Bars (ARB): Tweaked base values and complete rewrite on the balance calculations and drive type modifications. The output numbers are much lower than before, but that is as intended and works in conjunction with the other changes.
      • Dampening (Rebound/Bump): These values have been flipped a bit to accommodate the other changes/tweaks. these will be quite different depending on drive type (RWD, FWD, AWD).
      • Braking: Slight adjustment here for brake balance, and a recommended range for brake pressure. This is still really up to the driver and their preferred braking style.
      • Differential: Tweaked the calculations for all 3 drive types. Lower numbers across the board.
      • Gearbox: Expanded the gearbox tuning to 12 gears (in the event there are any cars that go that high). There were also some slight tweaks to speed calculations to smooth out some of the launches and the power curve.
      • Simplified output: The separated output has been combined into one long table that houses both the output data as well as the input date (and some other useful info)
      • Field Removal: Both the Ride Height and Lateral G's fields have been removed since they are no longer required.
  • v1.6.0: 29-Feb-2016 - Still availible as the "Classic v1.6" version
  • v1.5.1: 16-Dec-2015
  • v1.5.0: 28-Oct-2015
  • v1.4.0: 22-Oct-2015
  • v1.3.0: 08-Sep-2015
  • v1.2.0: 09-Jul-2015
  • v1.0.0: 04-May-2015 BiggLou55's "Lou-ne-tuner" is rebranded and becomes the U2SC Forza Tuning Calculator (was originally a pet project before becoming a community calculator).
